LOVE AND CARE 




Here at WetNose Club Society we love dogs. They are our world. These brilliant, hairy, loving little (sometimes big) balls of joy. Spending time with them, playing with them, adoring them is what we wake up for each day. As well as being dog lovers though, we are a business, and we need to feed, clothe and shelter the lovely people who work with us too. The following legal stuff might seem a bit cold then, but it is there to ensure that we can maintain the highest standards of care for our clients, people and pooches. If you have any concerns, we would be happy to discuss these with you over a cup of tea and a dog biscuit.


1- By a) enrolling a dog with or b) permitting a dog to attend or c) accepting the Services of WetNose Club Society (WNCS) and its staff, the Client is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.


2- WNCS may act in the Client’s absence as guardian of their dog and may perform or take any action which they regard necessary in order to protect and keep in good health the Client’s dog.

2.1 - WNCS staff are certified with dog first aid and CPR courses which must be updated every 3 months. 

2.2- WNCS is fully insured and a member of various professional bodies, having agreed to abide by their codes of conduct.

3- SERVICES


3.1-Day Care Divine: Programmed activities throughout the day including physical and mental stimulation in the form of exercise and games. Agility exercises, gymnasium workout and nap time. Your dog is never alone. A member of staff will always be entertaining, educating, interacting, and playing with your dog. Taxi included for pick up and drop off.

3.2-Day Care Adventure: Day care Divine plus 30 minutes park visit. Taxi included for pick up and drop off. 

3.3-Green City Walk: One hour walks both on and off lead experiencing two environments: the city and 3 different parks or greens. Taxi included for pick up and drop off.

3.4-Park Walk: One hour walks in various parks, off lead walking when appropriate (unless the Client advises otherwise). Taxi included for pick up and drop off.

3.5-Boarding: Programmed activities throughout the day at the day care centre plus food at our canteen and medication administration if needed. Taxi included for pick up and drop off.

3.6-TAXI

We programme our routes according to the locations of the clients booked on the day. The exact time for pick up and drop off therefore depends on client’s address and the traffic on the day and time of the trip. We are not able to guarantee a specific time of arrival. While WNCS strives to commit to the 1.5hr time frames below, traffic can sometimes cause unplanned changes.

Day Care & Boarding pick ups and/or drop offs in the morning are between 8am and 9:30am.

Day Care & Boarding pick ups and/or drop offs in the evening are between 4pm and 5:30pm.

Walks pick ups and drop offs for the morning walk are between 8am and 9am & 10am and 11am.

Walks pick ups and drop offs for the lunch time walk are between 11am and noon & 13am and 14am.

3.6.1 - Walks pick up time frame is a broad maximum window. Normally it will take less than one hour to pick up babes for a walk. This is just a rough example based on difficult traffic days.

3.6.2- There is no taxi service included on weekends and bank holidays.  Weekends pick up and/or drop off depends on availability. A taxi service will be booked and a taxi charge will be added to the usual service cost.



4- BOOKINGS

4.1- Twenty-four hours notice is needed to book a service.

4.2- Last minute booking (less than 24 hrs notice) depends on availability and is subject to a surcharge.

4.3- A booking for boarding services will be confirmed upon receiving the full amount in advance.



5- CANCELLATION POLICY

5.1- For boarding bookings, where thirty days or more notice is provided there is no charge. Where less than thirty days notice but more than seven days notice is given, 50% of the fee is chargeable to cover the loss of business. Where less than seven days’ notice is provided 100% of the fee is chargeable on the same basis.

5.2- Cancellation notification is required at least twenty-four hours prior to service for walks and day care. Notification less than twenty-four hours will incur a full charge for services. Furthermore, if we arrive at the client’s home for dog walking and their dog is not available or if we are unable to gain access to the property during a scheduled dog walk, the client will be fully charged. Likewise, if the client does not wish for WNCS to have a key and are not available in the agreed time for drop off, an uplift in the price to a boarding fee will occur.



6- PAYMENT

Invoice of services is monthly on the last day of each month. Full payment for services, which will be agreed at the time of booking, is to be made within seven days of receipt of the invoice.

The preferred method of payment is direct debit. Bank transfer or cash is also accepted.

Regular clients will be billed via a monthly direct debit for services rendered and will receive an invoice via email every last day of each month.


For clients who opt to pay by bank transfer, details of how to pay can be found in the monthly invoicing email. 

6.1- Missed payments

Any outstanding payments balance will be carried forward and re-sent together within the next month’s invoice.

If three invoices are outstanding, payment before further services will be required.

WNCS reserves the right to terminate services or suspend if overdue balances persist over a period of time which may be less than three months.

6.2- If the Client fails to make any payment due under the Contract by the due date for payment, then the Client shall pay interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 5% per cent per annum.



7- TRANSPORT

The Client’s dog may be transported with other dogs in a WNCS vehicle. WNCS guarantees to use a secure, dog dedicated vehicle, fully insured for business use.

7.1- In the event of a motor vehicle accident however, the Client agrees that WNCS cannot be held liable for death or injury to their dog.


8- HOLDING OF KEYS

The keys held by WNCS are fully covered with a high standard Pet Business Insurance. We are extremely careful with our clients’ keys. However, in case of theft or loss, a replacement for the Client’s lock and keys will be arranged with the Insurance company.

8.1- In the case of an emergency when the client gets locked out of their property and wishes access to the keys we hold, we can’t guarantee we are able to help, it depends on the location we are in at the moment, time and availability. We will try our best to help out as we have done many times in the past.

8.1- If the client does not wish for WNCS to have a key, the client takes full responsibility to be at home at the time of pick ups and drop offs specified above (AM &PM). Unfortunately we are not able to wait or to agree on a specific time as for the reasons in clause 3.6 above.


9- The Client gives permission to walk their dog/s off the lead, unless specified on the membership form.


10- The Client has explicitly confirmed that their dog has no record of aggressive or anti-social behaviour and that they have made in the membership form, a full and frank disclosure of any characteristic or trait that might make their dog unsuitable for socialising with other dogs.


11- Should the Client’s dog be deemed to be unsuitable by WNCS, WNCS reserves the right to cancel the booking indefinitely, with immediate effect. Any prepaid fees will be refunded.



12- The Client agrees to ensure that their dog/s will be kept up to date with all vaccinations, de-worming, de-fleaing. The client confirms their dog is castrated / neutered. 



13- When a boarding service is booked and the client comes back earlier, the original booking will be invoiced for loss of business.



14- The Client will take responsibility for any costs which may be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any damage, accident, or sickness in respect of their dog and will pay any such costs or expenses on demand. In case such events are proven to be WNCS negligence, WNCS agrees to cover any costs which may be incurred.



15- The client give express permission for WNCS to use photos of their dog on WNCS social media pages including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and the WNCS website, as well as within other printed or digital marketing material.ca
